Rather than pursue this request, I wonder if I could persuade you to add your support to an alternative approach to the problem of
Periodic Transactions.
I find the current separate screen, for what I think of as "Scheduled Transactions, extremely awkward to use. (Scheduled because they may be neither periodic or repeating.) The trouble is that it mixes transactions for any number of accounts making it impossible, without calculations done externally of MMEx, to predict the future balance of any account. This is not what I expect from computerised accounts!
Obviously, a screen for entering, reviewing and editing all future transactions is required, but this should not be the only place future transactions are shown. Once entered, they should be shown on the account involved - in some different colour or with a distinctive background shade. They should be able to be edited direct from the Account View screen as they can already from the existing "Future Transactions" screen, and they should be able to be filtered to avoid any excessive scrolling.
(Rather than a scroll/not scroll solution to the "Future Transactions" screen, I believe that either filters or sortable columns like those provided on the "Account View" screens, would be a better solution for those with a long list of scheduled transactions. But with Future Transactions incorporated onto Account View screens it may remove the necessity for your request. Don't forget that at the moment you only need to hit the HOME or END key with a transaction selected to reach the other end of the list, not a major hassle for most people. It's a shame that hitting TAB doesn't shift you from the Navigation pane to the main pane, as it would do on many programs! Then you could use keyboard navigation throughout the program.)
