Hi, i am new to posting on this site but not new to the software, I love it. I have a request for a feature that I would like to see in a future version of Money Manager EX. first let me explain my situation, I have set up my bank accounts and have been using the software for a while now; bi-monthly i have a recurring expense which is a loan from my bank that I am paying off that I enter as loan repayment but I would like an additional feature to deduct that payment each time I pay, (and give me the option to select from among current active loans either to a bank or an individual and not just an unlinked category named loan) from the current balance due.
So when setting up your bank accounts there would be a field for loans that will be a credit and my and my bank funds as debit.
And in reports there would be a loan category with all loans that would show:
- Where I got the loan from either bank or private individual,
- original loan amount,
- # payments made,
- total money paid,
- balance due,
- maybe even an estimate of when the loan will be repaid at the current rate since it is a recurring transaction
